About Me

Jane Thomas is an environmental engineer in Anchorage, Alaska.  She is a speaker, workshop leader, and consultant.

Her mission is to help the world get better prepared for the “next big one,” replacing helplessness with hope.  Jane has written emergency contingency plans for facilities from Wainwright, Alaska to the South Pole!

Jane gives workshops to corporations and to the general public that help participants to stack the deck in their favor.  Attend her workshop and you’ll not only learn how to become better prepared, but you’ll also take some real steps in that direction and develop an action plan to keep you on track.  Jane will inspire you to implement that plan, offering follow-up coaching and support.

Besides emergencies like earthquakes, hurricanes, ice storms, floods, and pandemics we read about in the press, Jane will  also help you to be better prepared for the smaller scale emergencies that can also be very disruptive to your life – such as a house fire, power outage, or an emergency while traveling.

Watch for her first book, More Ready Today, which will be hitting the bookstores this spring!
